The extender is a simple line at the baseline of the lyric that helps show the length of a melissima (tied/slurred note).

User settable properties:

next (layout object)

Object that is next relation (eg. the lyric syllable following an extender.

thickness (number)

Bar line thickness, measured in linethickness.

Internal properties:

heads (list of grobs)

List of note heads.
