The software in this directory is provided under the conditions of the GNU General Public License (unless indicated otherwise).

• GNU LilyPond: Development of the music typesetter.
• proc-time.c: A simple tool to get resource usage from /proc for a command (GNU/Linux); awaiting PC's linux-mm patch for getrusage. GNU time doesn't report memory stuff on FreeBSD either, but I couldn't find an easy way like to get this info (like /proc).
• proc-time.py: Prototype in Python. It exhibits mysterious Python SIGSEGV problems with larger COMMANDs, python-1.5.2, python-1.6a2, on ppc as well as on intel hardware.
• cygwin-cross.tar.gz: Scripts for setting-up a cross-development environment to Cygnus' GNU/Windows and packaging LilyPond.
• dpkg-1.4.1.3.jcn1.diff: patch: dpkg-1.4.1.3 on non-Debian, (partial) GNU systems. This probably won't make it in any time soon, because the bugs and patches list for dpkg has gotten a bit out of hand. Didn't know that, at the time %-]
• libgr-2.0.13.jcn1.diff: patch to libgr-2.0.13 fixing (or rather, finishing) pktopbm.
• texinfo-4.0.jcn1.diff: @verb, @verbatim, @verbinclude patch to GNU texinfo.
• texinfo-4.0.jcn2.diff: Patch for splitting html output to GNU texinfo's makeinfo. WIP. Btw, I wrote this patch, because the size of one of LilyPond's generated webpages got out of hand (ca 500kB), not because I like HTML. For documentation, HTML sucks, Info is good!
• rpm-3.0.3.prpm.diff: Patch to let rpm generate PRPM'S (patch RPM's) too. A patch rpm contains the .spec file and the patch set, but does not include the vanilla tarball. This enables the distribution of fine RPMs, without having to mirror, eg, ftp.gnu.org.
• w3m-0.1.11-pre.jcn1.diff: Patch that implements regex searches in select lists (menus). Here's a test form.
• gnus-5.8.7.jcn2.diff: Implemented expiry-target for nnmh backend.
• nnir.el-1.61.jcn1.diff: Added (n)mh pick search backend to nnir.el.
• gtk+-1.2.8-submenu-hysteresis.diff: A backport patch by Owen Taylor otaylor@redhat.com for gtk+-1.2.9, with fix, backported to gtk+-1.2.8. It fixes the embarrassingly poor submenu navigation of gtk+ <= 1.2.8.
• mpp: a MusiXTeX PreProcessor. Development was abandoned in in favour of GNU LilyPond, because preprocessors have limited control over the final score, and Musi*TeX is not Free Software. Other Musi*TeX preprocessors are still in development.
