3.14.1 Multiple staff contexts
Polyphonic scores consist of many staves. These staves can be
constructed in three different ways
- The group is started with a brace at the left, and bar lines are
connected. This is done with the GrandStaff (lilypond-internals) context.
- The group is started with a bracket, and bar lines are connected. This is done with the
StaffGroup (lilypond-internals) context
- The group is started with a vertical line. Bar lines are not
connected. This is the default for the score.
